Darc hoped that the apologies Zelda claimed to owe him didn't involve her previous attack. Whatever it was she wanted to talk about - or apologize for - he would be glad for the company. She was one of very few good friends that still seemed to be around on the community.

Perhaps she deserved a more personal apology of his own too.

He managed a little smirk at her words. "I wouldn't have made it this far otherwise."

"You're stronger than you think too, you know. I don't even think I could've endured being imprisoned in that tower. I don't do well being kept."

sorry for the delay 8|

She gave him the tiniest smile, nodding.

"It was...not an experience I care to repeat." She murmurs, glancing down at her gloved hands. "A trial on my patience, for certain."

Same here, bb. Same here. >_<

"Let's just forget about it. All of it."

Darc says this suddenly, and looks at first as if he barely even realized what he said. And yet, when he does realize his words, he seems even more assured of them.

"We don't need to keep feeling regret or apologizing for things that have already happened. You and I are better than that. We have what we were fighting for."

At least, he was assured of what he wanted to say. He hoped that it all made sense somehow. He was just so tired of all the sorries and the worrying.

She looks unsure for a moment, but then she smiles.

"Maybe you are correct. These things...they have already happened. We learn from them and move on. Living in the past is detrimental to the both of us."

Forgetting, Zelda couldn't do. But maybe, just maybe, she could move on.

Darc relaxed, glad that she agreed. There had been plenty of suffering and struggling and sorries in their lives. He couldn't exactly forget either, but he'd be damned if he was going to let these things overcome him.

Not that they wouldn't have a place in his nightmares now and again. Geedo still did. He would just have to remind himself that they're dreams, and he's stronger than them.

"Enough is enough," he stated quietly. When he carried on, he crossed his arms and gave her a smirk. "We've got better things to worry about anyway, like our prospering kingdoms. And speaking of which, I still have to see Hyrule."

((OOC: Ah, sorry but I don't remember if we figured Darc's visit to Hyrule was assumed or not...I don't remember much being discussed on the matter at all really. Derp...))
